Our nurse practitioners
Nurse practitioners (NP) are registered nurses who have completed Master’s level clinical education and training, allowing them to blend nursing and medical knowledge to:
- Diagnose and treat medical conditions
- Order and interpret tests
- Prescribe medications
- Refer to specialists
- Act as the most responsible provider for patient care
NPs work within three streams of practice:
- Family (F) — infants to older adults
- Adult (A) — adults and older adults
- Pediatrics (P) — infants to adolescents
NP services are fully covered under the BC Medical Services Plan. We are accepting new patients now.
